With everyone staying at home, more and more people have used facetime and video calls to stay connected with loved ones—and it’s made for a lot of virtual parties.
In fact, according to a new survey by Evite, over 6.5 million people have been invited to a virtual party through their platform since March. (That’s more than 10,000 percent year over year growth.) The survey also found that over 780,000 guests have been invited to virtual baby showers and sprinkles, while more than 262 guests have been invited to virtual bridal showers or bachelor and bachelorette parties and 127,000 guests have been invited to virtual weddings.
But which cities partied the most virtually? The survey found that New York City is not dead and was one of ten cities that took advantage of the virtual party scene. Below, the top cities for virtual parties:
- New York, NY
- Dallas, TX
- Los Angeles, CA
